BIOPROTEKTOR 90 and 150: features

The Bioprotektor is a disposable container pre-filled with 4% formaldehyde in closed circuit (10% buffered formalin).

The container is completely smooth to facilitate the introduction and extraction of the sample and is equipped with a knurled screw cap to facilitate opening and closing operations.

Suitable for the management of biological samples during collection and transport.

It is designed to ensure maximum safety for the operator who in no way comes into contact with the formaldehyde contained inside a capsule sealed in the cap.

Even in case of incorrect transport (container lying on its side) the sample remains completely immersed in the fixative.

Material: The container is manufactured exclusively with non-toxic materials free of latex and phthalates.

Container and cap: polypropylene (PP) + THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER (TPE-S)

Undercap: high density polyethylene (HDPE)

Possibility to contain up to a maximum of twelve boxes for inclusion (BioproteKtor 150)

Possibility of providing certified systems for the transport of BioproteKtor

Double-function filter for BioproteKtor90: protects biopsies and prevents formalin from re-entering the cap (accessory)
