Kitofluid: features
KitoFluid is a cytological fixative based on acetic acid for urinary cytology, fine needle aspirates, ascitic and pleural fluids; particularly suitable for blood samples.
The product is compatible with all filtration, centrifugation and coloring techniques.
Use in the ratio 1: 5 with the sample to be fixed (eg on 150 ml of urine use 30 ml of product).
The urine sample is kept for 3-4 days at room temperature, maximum one week in the refrigerator (+ 4 ° C).
For the other samples the storage time is one day.
