The Orcein Staining Kit is indicated for staining elastic connective tissue fibers.
Orcein is a weakly acidic red-orange fluorochrome and is mainly required for the staining of elastic tissues.
It also stains the rough endoplasmic reticulum of hepatitis B-infected liver cells and copper-bound proteins.
