Fixative for cytological samples.
Cytobiologic urine is a liquid fixative that allows the preservation of the cells present in biological fluids, thanks to the presence of alcohol and polyethylene glycol; this is inserted into the cells and supports the cellular structures, keeping the nuclear details and preserving the sample from drying to air.
Samples fixed with Cytobiologic urine can remain stable for many days.
The samples to be used are urine, biological fluids, mucoid samples, brushed endoscopy, bronchoscopy and cytology, and agoaspirate fluids.
