Mounting medium for microscopy.

Filtered, non-sterile mounting medium, ready to use to coverslip slides in histology and cytology procedures.

Produced with solvents based on isoparaffin alkanes (C 11– C12), Compatible with xylene-free clearing agents.

The product is dropped onto the stained and dehydrated specimen and the slide is covered airtight with a cover glass.

The evaporation causes the mounting medium hardness, forming a solid, clear film under the cover glass, preserving the stained specimen and thus enabling it to be kept for several years for re-analysis.

Thanks to the glass-similar refractive properties of the mounting medium, the sample can be observed under a microscope without any interference.
