Mounting medium for microscope slides
Mounting medium based of synthetic resin in xylene to be used with cover glasses in histology and cytology procedures.
Filtered, non-sterile, ready to use.
Viscosity: cP 640 - 700
After staining, the sample must be cleared and locked between two slides with a substance interposed that keeps them unchanged, preserves and accentuates their transparency and keep them together.
The formulation of mounting medium is based on resin in xylene with a plasticizer to avoid the sample shrinkage.
