Per-Tek - 1560

Acrylic resin mixture solved in xylene.

For in vitro diagnostic use (cytology – histology).

Mounting medium with rapid drying for slides coverslipping. Not sterile, ready to use. Soluble in Xylene.

After staining, samples must be cleared and enclosed between two slides with a substance that keeps them unchanged, maintains their transparency and hardens to keep them together over the years.

Per-Tek formulation is based on the classic one with resin dissolved in Xylene.

Before embedding, the sample must be dehydrated, if necessary, in alcohol (scale from 50° to 95°) but especially in Xylene which is the best clearing agent.

The use of alcohols should be evaluated to obtain the complete elimination of water and to avoid the formation of air bubbles that prevent the good conservation of the slide.

Put two/three drops of Per-Tek on the specimen and cover with a coverglass; take care to avoid air bubbles; in case they form heat the coverglass at 35° for a short time.
