Immersion oil: features
This ready-to-use Immersion oil for microscopy possesses a defined refractive index and hence serves to optimize microscopic examinations of histological, cytological, hematological, and bacteriological specimens of human origin after they have been fixed, embedded (wherever necessary) and stained.
The Immersion oil practically eliminates light beam deflection so that the effectiveness of the lens is considerably increased.
Appearance : light yellow and viscous liquid, insoluble in water
Density at 20 °C : 1,024 - 1,027 g/ml
Refraction index : 1.511 1,521
Component : Benzyl benzoate – it does not contain Cedarwood Oil
