Tourniquets are intended for use by medical personnel and specialized paramedic, as a mechanical barrier for the compression of the vessels blood vessels during venous sampling or as a mechanical barrier upstream of the wounds to stop bleeding.

The product has high performance in terms of softness, elasticity, transparency, non-toxicity, biocompatibility, resistance to aging; it retains its flexibility over a wide range of temperatures and can be subjected to repeated sterilization in autoclave without property degradation.

Despite the high elasticity and flexibility, it is advisable to avoid storing the product under mechanical tension.
