DIF-STAIN KIT is a variant of classic Romanowsky staining procedure based on Methylene Blue and Eosin for specimen such as blood and marrow smears, urinal sediments, expectorate and epithelial cells.
DIF-STAIN is used also to reveal yeast and bacteria in epithelial smear.
Cellular constituents can be differentiated: (cytoplasm/eosinophilic pinkish/red - blue/violet nucleus) and also highlight yeasts and bacteria in epithelial smears.
Dif-Stain staining is a rapid method for differential staining of figured blood elements.
The method can also be used for the staining of cytological preparations, cytcentrifugates, aspirated needle, vaginal smears, providing a chromatic framework that can be superimposed on the traditional method of May Grunwald - Giemsa.
